Fourth annual Electric Vehicle Show and Rally June 9 to feature rides, racing, workshops, demonstrations and displays

Schoolcraft College is hosting the Fourth Annual Electvic Vehicle Show and Rally on Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the college’s main campus in Livonia. The Show and Rally is free and open to the public. This event is a great opportunity for the public to see this new breed of cars up-close, talk to the owners, go for a short ride in an EV with the owner driving, and watch the EVs race.

Schoolcraft College celebrates 47th annual Commencement Ceremony

On Saturday, May 5, 2012, Schoolcraft College celebrated its 47th annual Commencement Ceremony at Compuware Arena in Plymouth, MI. Of the 1,696 students eligible to participate (those earning an associate degree or certificate), 440 graduates donned their caps and gowns and invited friends and family to celebrate their accomplishments.

Schoolcraft hosts 9th Annual Senior Expo on May 22

The Ninth Annual Senior Expo, sponsored by the Observer & Eccentric Newspapers, Comfort Dental Spa, Schoolcraft College and the VisTaTech Center, will be held Tuesday, May 22 from 9 a.m - 2 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center on Schoolcraft's main campus in Livonia. Numerous workshops are scheduled throughout the day and dozens of organizations will be on hand sharing information. The Senior Expo is free and open to the public.

Schoolcraft College invites school-age pianists to Summer Piano Camp June 25-29

Schoolcraft College’s renowned Music Department is sponsoring a special week-long Summer Piano Camp for school-age students June 25-29, 2012. Piano students at the elementary, intermediate and advanced levels will enjoy this unique experience and change of pace from their traditional private lessons. Deadline for registering is Monday, June 11.
