Current Students
Now that you are part of the Schoolcraft community, there are two important things to remember:
- The sheer number of academic programs, student activities and campus events can make Schoolcraft feel very big.
- The one-to-one attention offered by helpful faculty and staff can make Schoolcraft feel very small.
Your support system
Your chances for success are much better if you take advantage of the services and resources available at the main campus in Livonia and the Radcliff Center in Garden City. As a Schoolcraft student, you have an entire support system behind you.
Involvement = learning
Studies show that students who get involved in campus life do better in the classroom. Whether it’s the Student Activities Board or the student newspaper, service learning through Schoolcraft Scholars or the annual School Daze celebration, there is an exciting campus just waiting to be explored.
You are always welcome here
You will always be part of the Schoolcraft family. Attend concerts, plays or campus events. Book your corporate events in VisTaTech. Attend fundraisers, such as the Golf Fore Scholarships or Culinary Extravaganza, or bring your friends to lunch or dinner in the American Harvest Restaurant. And don’t forget lifelong learning through Continuing Education and Professional Development.
Combining fun, scholarship and community service
Your schedule is booked solid, so the question is, can you afford to spend time on student activities that are “just for fun”? The answer is “yes” when that activity gives you valuable management experience, provides useful information, develops your skills and gives something back to the community. Schoolcraft Scholars, Peer Assisted Learning (PAL), the International Institute and its Multicultural Fair are just a few examples of activities that contribute to the campus, the community and your resume.
People of Schoolcraft
Omar
Omar likes Schoolcraft for having small classes and being close, clean and easy to deal with. The next stop for the physical therapy major is Wayne State University.
